When it's time to replace carpet
Matting in the traffic lanes that doesn't recover, odor that returns after cleaning, visible seams or rippling, and a worn pad are the signs we look for. If the carpet has years left, we'll tell you that too — the estimate is free and honest.
What's included in a replacement
Removal and haul-away of the old carpet and pad, inspection and prep of the subfloor, new tack strip where needed, new pad, new carpet, transitions cut in, and a vacuum before we leave. Furniture moving is included.
Replace the pad too
Most carpet failures are actually pad failures. Putting new carpet over a worn, compressed or odor-holding pad is money wasted, so we always quote the replacement with a fresh pad matched to the new carpet.
Choosing your replacement carpet
We bring samples to your home so you compare colors and textures in your own light next to your furniture — Berber, frieze, textured, plush and loop constructions across a range of price points and major manufacturers.
Replacing carpet in stages
If you're doing the house over time, we can replace one floor now and the rest later, or sequence a whole-house project so your family isn't living around the work for a week.
How fast can it happen?
Next-day installation is available on qualifying in-stock products. We'll give you a realistic date at the estimate based on what you choose and the size of the job.
Warranty
Our installation workmanship is backed by a lifetime installation warranty. Carpet materials carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we review with you before you buy.
